Part 2 - Returns Pick-Up and Processing
In case of returns where you would like item(s) to be picked up from a different address, the address can only be changed if pick-up service is available at the new address
During pick-up, your product will be checked for the following terms & conditions:
Terms and Conditions for Returning
1. Complete and Correct Product ( with original Brand/IMEI/ name/ image/serial number/ article number/ bar code, freebies and accessories, original packing should match and undetached MRP should not be removed and clearly visible.
2. The Completeness of all in the box accessories ( like remote control, starter kits, instruction manuals, chargers, headphones, etc.), freebies, warranty/guarantee cards and combos (if any), Products with passwords/locks should be returned unlocked/disabled.
3. Product that stores personal information should be returned after deleting all personal information. Hokosoko shall not be responsible in any manner for any misuses or usage of such information.
4. The product should be unused, unwashed, unsoiled, without any stains ,scrathes, tears or holes and with non-tampered quality check seals/ warranty seals (wherever applicable).Product sold as combos/sets cannot be returned individually.
5. Hokosoko Shall not be responsible for the products returned by mistake. In circumstances where a product not belonging to seller or transacted through Hokosoko is returned by mistake, Hokosoko or the seller shall not be accountable for misplacement or replacement of the product and shall not responsible for it,s delivery back to you. You waive any and all claims against Hokosoko in this regard.
6. The Refund will be rejected if you return a wrong or used product, please double confirm and make sure you return the correct item.
7. Pack your item securely, inserting any paperwork that was included when you requested your return while filling the application of return. If you don’t have the original product packing, use a sturdy box and include padding such as packing bubbles or newspaper. Attach your return label to the package.
8. No damage to the product and it should be original packing/brand box should be undamaged
9. Non-Returnable products are mentioned on product details page.
Before accepting shipment of any product, kindly ensure that the product’s packaging is not damaged or tampered. If the package is damaged or tampered , we request you to refuse delivery. We assure refund upon such refused delivery or non-delivery. If in case you choose to accept the product , you shall do it at your own risk.
Return Shipping Fee
If you return an item by using return pick up service on the your account , and the reason for your return is not a result of a Hokosoko/Seller’s error, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless your items qualifies for a free return.
1. We reserve a right to impose such charges as is necessary to reimburse the expense of delivery and pick up if we observe that you have a transaction history of repeat returns.
2. We also reserve a right to make the products ineligible for return or refund , if we observe a transaction history of repeated returns.
3. We may also notify that the facility of pickup for returns from you has been withdrawn, in which case, you will have to bear your own expense and logistics to return the product back to the seller or Hokosoko.
4. The liability and risk of such returns shall be on you to establish your claim for return. Refunds for returned products shall only be initiated if they pass through conditions mentioned above. If the product received fails to pass through the verification and checks. The refund will not be processed.
5. We also reserve a right to disable a Cod facility for you, If we observe a transaction history of repeated returns.
How Long To Receive the Refund After Return?
For any products which is a refund is to be given, the refund will be processed once the returned product has been received by Seller or Hokosoko Warehouse.
It can take 10-15 days for items to reach us once you return it. Once the item is received at Our Warehouse or by the seller, it takes upto 3 business days to do the verification and checks, and if your parcel pass through, the refund will be processed to your Hokosoko Wallet Balance and the refund amount will show up on your wallet within 1-2 business days.
Refunds under condition
Refunds are generally initiated in the following scenarios:
1. When Prepaid Orders are cancelled by Customer/Seller/Hokosoko before delivery (Please read our Return Policy)
2. If our courier partner is unable to deliver the order
3. If you wish to return the product, in accordance with our Return Policy
4. If you following the instruction on how to return the product with the above conditions met.
1. Sign into your Hokosoko My account.
2. Click on Order section, click the “Cancel Product ” button under Cancel/Returns.
3. Select the item(s) you would like to return, indicate the reasons for return/cancel. Upload video and photos of the items and submit.
4. Return request will be reviewed by Hokosoko
5. If required, request will be shared with the Seller for his/her approval
6. After approval, pickup of the product will be arranged through our courier partners.
7. The logistics company will contact you as soon as possible, please wait for the courier to pick up the package or take the sealed package to the nearby mailing point and send to Seller address which is mentioned in your parcel when you received.
6. If our reverse pickup service is not available on your address, we will ask you to dispatch the product. The courier charges will be reimbursed by Hokosoko which would be up to Rs300.
5. Mention the Order Number/Delivery Address on the package, before handing over the packet to our Pickup executive.
6. Keep the Courier Company's receipt for tracking purposes
8. We will confirm the parcel immediately after we receive the return, it will be verified against your claim and accordingly refund and return is initiated. For refund it will be take 5-7 working days once we receive an order. We’ll issue the refund to your Hokosoko wallet if we are not otherwise informed to refund to your payment account in advance. Wallet balance can be used on your next purchase or be withdrawn to your payment account. Once your refund has been issued, you will receive a confirmation email.
Note: Incase if you find any difficulty to return the product then please contact customer services on the number mentioned and indicate the item(s) you would like to return and the reason.
Please note :
1. Replacement would depend upon the stock availability with the respective Seller.
2. Hokosoko shall not be liable for any incidental defect/damage, like liquid leakage/ mishandling etc.
Return Time/Replacement & Order Status
1. Returns/Replacement request for any order should be initiated within 10 days of receiving a product. However, in case of Damaged/Missing Product,Empty Parcel, Wrong item or Defective Item the Return request should be filed within 2 days of delivery.
2. Orders must be delivered, and the address of the recipient must be in India.
3. If you receive a damaged, defective, missing items, wrong product or empty parcel, Hokosoko Customer Service should be notified within 48 hours of receipt of the product. You can notify us by uploading the short video or product images on my account section or also can send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
4. Replacement will depend upon the availability of the product
5. Refund/Replacement will be initiated only upon receiving of the product
6. In case the product was damaged while in your possession, Hokosoko will not be under any liability to process the refund/replacement
7. For any Defective, Missing, Wrong Products or Empty Parcel the return or refund should be filed within 48 hours ( 2 days) of delivery.
Order Replacement can be done in following cases:
- Wrong Size/ Wrong item/Color/ Style/ Quantity/items
- Missing Parts/ Missing item and Accessories
- Defective Product - Manufacturing defect/ Non-functioning (Not applicable, if the product is under Manufacturer’s Warranty
- Not as per description/Tampered Product
- No Invoice/Warranty Received – Available on Electronics only
- Unsatisfactory Product – Inauthentic/ Low Quality/ Expired
Under what conditions returns/ replacement request will not be accepted?
Returns/ Replacement requests will not accepted under following cases –
· If Products are Altered/ Used
· If Product is Returned without Original Packaging (price tags, packing slips, labels & accessories)
· If Serial Number is tampered
· For Defective product that is covered under Seller/Manufacturer's Warranty or Reported after 10 days of the Delivery
· For Damaged/Missing product that is reported after 2 days of the delivery
· For Products sold under specific promotions, details of which would be mentioned in the Product page and Terms & Conditions page
· For Manufacturer’s Warranty Products, you are required to visit the Brand Service Centre.

What do I do if my area does not have a reverse pick up service?
If our reverse pickup service is not available at your address, we will ask you to dispatch the product. Return address will be notified to you in a separate email, along with the packaging instructions and required documents.
In case of Self-Shipment, Hokosoko will reimburse your courier charges (upto Rs. 300) in form of Wallet. Please take care of the following :
1. Mention the Order number/Delivery Address on the package, before handing it over to the Courier Representative
2. Do not seal the box.
3. Upload the courier receipt in My returns section or attach it on confirmation email received after return filing
4. Keep the Courier Company's receipt for tracking purposes
5. Track your Return Shipment on the Courier Company's Website
Please Note : The field executive will refuse to accept the return if any of the above conditions are not met.

Do I need to pay the courier company to send my product back?
No, You don't need to pay anything to the courier representative if we arrange the pickup of your product. In case your address is not serviceable by our courier service providers, you need to self-ship the product to us (address will be emailed to you). Courier charges will be reimbursed by us in form of Hokosoko wallet ( My Wallet) . The courier charges eligible for reimbursement are up to Rs.300. For availing reimbursement of courier charges, upload the courier receipt in ‘My Returns’ section or attach it in the confirmation email received after filing the return.
How will I know that my Returned product has reached you?
You will receive an email from us within 24-48 Hours of Pickup, along with the Tracking details. You can track the package on Courier Company's website. You can also track the status of your return request at ‘My Accounts’ -> ‘ Returns’ Section and click on particular Return ID to view the returned order details
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged: bodysuits, innerwear, lingerie & sleepwear, swimwear, jewelry, and accessories (except scarves, bags, and mermaid blankets) and electronics, Also the items which are non-returnable is mentioned on the product details page.
Bundling Promotion Items Return/Items with Certain Promotions Return
a. All items in bundling promotion are not eligible for partial cancels, exchanges, or returns.
b. Items with non-returnable marks and free gifts cannot be returned.
c. Items with 'non-returnable', 'flash sale', 'promotion item cannot be returned' marks as well free gifts, cannot be returned and exchanged.
d. Items returned must be in their unused condition with the original packing. We do not accept returned item(s) that have been used, worn, damaged, washed, or altered in any way.
e. Damaged/Missing product/ Defective/ Empty Parcel and Wrong items that is reported after 2 days of the delivery
f. For Defective product that is covered under Seller/Manufacturer's Warranty or Reported after 10 days of the Delivery
Regarding Mismatched Products
We do not accept returned items that were sent back by you directly without checking with us first. Please be sure to double check your returns before shipping them out, we will not be held responsible for the return of non-Hokosoko products.
Return Method & Cost
We do not offer Freight to Collect (FTC) service for the packages returned to us. The returns will be made at your own cost.
Please Note: Hokosoko reserves the right not to process returns in the following situations:
1. Return Exceeds the return time limit
2. Return Non-Hokosoko Items
3. Return items belong in the NON-Returnable category
4. Return without application.

When does a Refund get declined?
Refund may get declined if the product received by us is not as per your claim, it is not meeting the terms and condition of return mentioned above or Order ID is missing on the package.
And if you did not report to us within 48 hours after you receive a product.
The refund will be initiated to your Hokosoko Wallet or the original payment account per your request.
Refund process time
a. Refund will be initiated within 5-7 working days from Hokosoko side upon receipt of your package.
b. If you choose Hokosoko Wallet, the money will be refunded to your Hokosoko account( within 24-48 hours after initiated).
c. If you choose original Payment Account , specific time of the money refunding to your original payment account according to your payment mode/bank account (normally takes 2-10 working days after initiated).
Please Note: Refunds will be initiated for items price only, other fees like Shipping ( If any ), Express shipping and COD service charges are non-refundable.
